This is because the Panasonic QE-TM101-K Qi Wireless Charge Pad has a moving coil in its base that actually slides over to wherever you place your phone! Because it is flat, it also does not suffer from problems like phones sliding off the charger (a common problem with Orb shaped Qi Chargers). This product supports AC 100 V - 240 V voltages.
